Get involved with eSportsGG As the eSports Gaming Ground site develops we will be looking to get gamers from countries and LAN Centers all around the world involved in what we do. We are always on the look out for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Community Team.
We also have spaces for News Writers, League and Ladder Admins, Forums Moderators, eSports Scene Reporters, Hardware Reviewers, Designers and so much more.
"What do I get out of it?"
Being an eSportsGG Admin gives you influence and responsibility in the eSports scene. We will rely on you to be the voice of eSportsGG and the ear for the thousands of users who will want to have their say on what happens on eSportsGG.
Being part of the team means we will work to develop the ideas you come up with. If you have an idea for a new game competition, new weekly review section or anything else we are happy to help promote your good intentions to the eSportsGG community.
Being an admin is purely voluntary and we are happy to recommend and reward admins who show good development and work.
"What are the requirements?"
eSportsGG general requirements:
- A good understand and ability to write in the English Language
- A good knowledge of the area you intend to work in
- A sense of responsibility and reliability
- Neutrality and objectivity in decision making
- Capable of working with the rest of the eSportsGG team
"What would I be doing?"
The work you will do with eSportsGG will very much depend on your areas of interest and where your skills lie. Here are a few examples of the different tasks eSportsGG admins could face:
Make things happen for your game!
Push forward your favourite game into other LAN centers around the world. Work with the eSportsGG Admins to develop a event structure, design artwork and run your own event. If a game proves successful it may become a main event of eSportsGG.
Being part of the Community.
We will always do our best to listen to the community but our systems are by no means perfect. As a key role model on the site we will rely on you to talk with the members and make sure they have a n enjoyable time on eSportsGG.
Solving Issues.
No matter how hard we try there will always be someone who doesn't read the rules, misses the match time or causes a ruckus over a small matter and that's where you step in to calm the situation down and resolve it in a professional manner.
Some more examples would be:
- Adminning for special competitions
- Running your own events
- Writing news
- Creating graphics
- Teaching new admins and more!
