Hall of Famers 2009 0.5

We are half way through 2009 and things are becoming mighty interesting on the eSportsGG 2009 Ladder. Each month we take a look at the top 20 gamers from around the globe on the World Stats Ladder. In the future you can expect to see prizes awarded for the awesome feats these guys pull off each month but for now here's a look back at the year so far.

The year started out with Stevey from GTW Newtownards leading as he meant to go on, taking the first of his 4 months at the top spot in 2009. Big shout out to Patricking from Blur Center in Chennai, India, who managed 8,818 kills in January meaning he was popping a cap in someones ass 284.4 times a day!

Venom stomped all over his competition in February massing an incredible 12,034 kills in only 28 days, an average of 429 kills a day! GAMETHEWORLD's Ballymena in Northern Ireland and Swords in the Republic of Ireland both got players into the top 20 for the first time in 2009 so props to Black Star and Torb.

The March Hall of Fame saw domination from one of our Northern Irish Centers - GAMETHEWORLD Newtownards.

True to his word the ominous stevey has managed to top the monthly Hall of Fame for the 3rd month out of 4 in 2009. Shout out to stelios from Village Internet and Gaming (VIG) in Cyprus who became the first Cypriot into our Hall of Fame claiming the 12th spot with a pretty impressive 1.62 K/D ratio.

May was by no means a walk over for Mr.Stevey as the Top 5 players were seperated by only 5,000 Skill Points. Between 2nd place boswell and 3rd place bd there was only 2 stats points. bd's K/D ratio and could have earnt him the number one spot but he just couldn't catch his fellow LAN Center gamer Stevey.

The May Stats Race seemed to give us the start of something massive in the power of Stevey from GTW Newtownards, however June was a completely different story. The Village and Internet Gaming (VIG) centers in Cyprus opened a can of PWN onto the entire June WSL Ladder taking 8 of the top 20 slots including the saught after #1 spot.
