What is the World Stats Ladder?
The World Stats Ladder or WSL, is the first ladder of its kind to focus solely on LAN Centers and the Gamers who play in them. Whenever you play on a LAN Stats Server at your local internet cafe, dedicated LAN Gaming Center, Multiplayer eSports Center or any regular LAN venue that is part of the eSportsGG Community, everything you do in game is tracked and then shown on the WSL and public WSL Profiles.
The WSL evolved from software developed by GAMETHEWORLD (GTW) and was used in 2 centers to begin with but has now been developed to work with any venue in the world using Smartlaunch technology. As it stands the WSL has seen over 10,000 recorded players and over 6.8 million in game frags. As the WSL continues to grow we aim to get more and more countries, centers and gamers involved in the WSL.
The WSL as it stands currently supports 4 games; Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, Counter Strike Source and Quake 3. The fight for the top is on but that is not all the WSL has to offer in the future.
The tool is going to be further developed to incorporate more games and also a number of different competitions and events. We can track the best headshotters, the casual knifers, the optimum railgunners and much much more to allow us to set you challenges day-in day-out The WSL is going to be key to the progress of and competitions in the eSports Gaming Ground Community.
